The thought of a boudoir session can be scary. When talking to women about their session, I get asked all kinds of questions. So, I wanted to compile a list of my 12 most frequently asked questions to give you some insight on preparing for a boudoir shoot with me
WHERE DO SESSIONS TAKE PLACE? Sessions take place at the studio on main street in Anoka, MN. Outdoor and in home sessions are also available.
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE? The Boudoir Experience session fee is $500. You are able to split this into two payments of $250! This includes professional hair and makeup, your session, wardrobe styling, use of the studio lingerie closet and a reveal and order session. Our gorgeous products are purchased separately.
DO I HAVE TO WEAR LINGERIE OR BE NUDE? Being nude is not required, but 99% of our clients end up doing fine art nudes at the end of their session.
I'M OLDER/BIGGER/ETC. THAN THE WOMEN IN YOUR PHOTOS . IS THIS REALLY FOR ME? Absolutely! The women in the boudoir photos are everyday women who had the same or similar fears. This experience truly is for EVERY woman.
CAN I BRING SOMEONE TO MY SHOOT? We do not allow anyone under the age of 18 in the studio. You may bring a friend 18+ if you choose. Please be sure you're 100% comfortable with them, as it shows in your photos.
DO I BRING MY OWN OUTFITS? We do have client lingerie you are welcome to use ranging in size from xs-5x, but we always recommend bringing a few pieces from home. We'll go into more detail during planning your session.
IS IT A REQUIREMENT TO SHARE MY IMAGES ONLINE? No! We take your privacy very seriously and only share what you give us permission to.
I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO POSE. I get down and show you exactly how to pose everything from your head to your toes. I got you, babe!
DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN MAKEUP?
No! Professional hair and makeup is included in your session fee. We have everything here for you including hair styling tools. Show up ready to be pampered!
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
Yes! We offer prepayment plans up to 9 months and we accept PayPal Credit as well as Affirm.
DO YOU PHOTOSHOP MY IMAGES?
I do edit every photo by hand, things like skin smoothing, under eye circles, etc. I do not, however, change the shape of your body such as a slimmer waste. If there are parts of yourself you're learning to love and are not thrilled about, that's perfectly ok! We will pose and light properly as to not focus on those areas.
SHOULD I ARRIVE EARLY TO MY SHOOT?
Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes prior to your appointment time.
